Welcome to
My boyfriend is an avid fan of this sport and I thought it’d be nice to share an interest with him, so a year ago I asked him to teach me the rules and explain the basics of boxing.  And lo-and-behold, I now can’t seem to get away from this sport.  I attend boxing matches as well as watch every fight on HBO and at times those on ESPN.
I know that being a “true” American, I should love the games of football, basketball, or baseball but the fact is that I’m not really into any of these sports.  Believe me, I’ve tried!  I’ve attended games in each of the sports and just could not get into any sport as much as I’ve gotten into the sport of Boxing.

Trinidad v. Jones Jr. (Sat., 1/19/08)
-- It was a good fight. Lots of action. Certainly not a disappointment. What else is there to expect when you see Jones Jr. fighting?! He certainly gave a good performance. His speed is very impressive. This was the first time I've seen him fight. I 've heard of his speed but did not believe it until I witnessed it when he knocked Trinidad down twice throughout the 12-round fight.
